About the role…
The core responsibility of this role is to support the Maintenance function with Minor Facilities repair work and general housekeeping as requested by Maintenance Management.
Key duties include, but are not limited to:
• General Facilities based repairs such as Plumbing tasks, Door repairs, Flooring repairs, plastering, painting and Grounds-keeping.
• Manual handling of delivery and collection goods and materials.
• Comply with the Environmental, Health and Safety Policy and identify health and safety hazards prior to the commencement of work.
• Conduct daily duties in a highly professional manner.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area as required.
• Assisting Site Maintenance Engineers with PPM’s and Breakdowns when required.
• Assist with office / Maintenance Administration
What we’re looking for…
Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
• Any of the building / facilities-based skills such as: Carpentry, Bricklaying, Plastering, Plumbing and Decorating
• Basic computer literacy (MS office)
• Previous labouring experience within a factory/manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Stacker/FLT license
